One of the most unexpected rap beefs of 2025 was Pusha T and Travis Scott. Pusha T said the origin of their beef was an incident that happened between Scott, himself, his brother Malice, and legendary producer Pharrell during the recording of their album, Let God Sort Em Out.

However, in the aftermath of their beef, Travis Scott says that he believes that Pusha T was clout chasing to bring more attention to Clipse’s album rollout.
“So when I hear that type of sh*t, it’s just like, I don’t know, man. If you got to drop Trav’s name for the rollout, so be it,” Scott said to Rolling Stone as heard through @big_business on X.

“When you go back and look at it … it’s crazy. he said I had a film crew with me.

However, fans in the comments section of the post did not seem to agree.
“Travis is cool but his name is not needed for a rollout lol,” one person wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Glad Pharrell won’t be around this goofy again,” another user chimed in.
“Clipse album rollout “needing Travis Scott’s name” for promotion is laughable,” a third user remarked.
Pusha T revealed that his issues with Travis stemmed from an incident that occurred around the time Scott dropped his 2023 album, Utopia. The album became controversial after Drake targeted Pharrell. In the song, he reveals that he purchased the producer’s $2.2 Million N.E.R.D chain and melted it down.
Travis apparently traveled to Pharrell’s studio, which is now located at Louis Vuitton headquarters, in Paris, to play his album — and interrupted a Clipse recording session to do so.
What Pusha T said he really took issue with was the fact that the version of the album that he played for Clipse and Pharrell did not feature Drake’s controversial verse.
However, Scott says that is not how things went down at all. He insists that he was invited to meet them at the studio.
“A lot of sh*t [Pusha] was saying just didn’t make sense to me,” Scott continued. “It was like he was saying I was interrupting sh*t and I was playing them sh*t. First of all, I can’t interrupt something that somebody asked me to come pull up on.”
