Tensions are spilling into the open between Turk and Juvenile, with Turk airing out long-simmering frustrations over money, respect, and rewritten narratives.
According to Turk, Juvenile personally invited him to join a tour with an initial promise of $10,000 for 30 dates. That number, he claims, steadily dropped—first to $5,000, then down to $3,500. Turk says he tried to be understanding at first, but eventually had to draw a line. With a family to support and travel costs to cover, he felt the constant pay cuts crossed from collaboration into disrespect. His message was clear: this was business, not charity, and nobody “fed” anybody.
The issues didn’t stop there. Turk also addressed a studio situation where he says Juvenile asked him to jump on a record, they agreed, and Turk delivered his verse—only for Juvenile to later suggest on Drink Champs that Turk was removed because he “doesn’t condone negativity.” Turk flatly denied that version of events, calling it cap and accusing Juvenile of trying to rewrite history as if Turk was the problem.
Adding to the tension, Turk says he felt slighted when Juvenile released the “Reunion” record and shouted out nearly everyone involved—except him.
Bottom line: Turk says he’s done staying quiet, done letting loyalty be mistaken for weakness, and done allowing his name to be played with. From here on out, it’s respect first—or he’s walking away.
Now the question fans are debating: Was Juvenile foul for cutting Turk’s pay and pulling him off the record, or is Turk overreacting?
