These days, one of the more prominent conversations surrounding hip-hop is who is the best rapper. But there is no question is the best out, according to Waka Flocka. And that artist is Ye, formerly known as Kanye West.
Waka Flocka Declares Kanye West The Best Rapper Alive
During a recent episode of Fearless with Tomi Lahren, the former 1017 artist said that he feels that West is the best rapper “by far.”
“He’s the best rapper alive to me. Ain’t nobody rapping better than Kanye West, by far. Nobody,” he said in a clip caught by Kurrco on X.
Of course, Waka’s comments sparked a major debate on social media.
“How is Ye the best rapper alive when people write for him most of the time?” one user asked on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“At his peak, total package-wise, I think it is hard to argue Kanye being the greatest. Now just off rapping and rhyming words alone that is a ridiculous take,” a second user chimed in.
“Kanye literally said himself that Drake is the greatest rapper ever; people be on here just yapping,” a third user remarked.

Lahren also asks the rapper his thoughts on some of the controversial statements that he has made over the past couple of years. To which he responded that some of the things he was speaking about were “facts,” but he also felt like the statements were “broad” and he should have directed them to the people he took issue with. Waka also said that because the statements were “broad,” it became an issue of ” people versus people.
