The tension between Atlanta rap stars Young Thug and Gunna has been well-documented. But 21 Savage believes that enough time has passed, and it is time for the two of them to settle their differences.
Young Thug Responds to 21 Savage
In a social media post on Wednesday (December 17), the Red Rum creator demanded that the one-time friends “fix” their broken relationship.
“Y’all n*****s fix that shit, Y’all. Love each other,” he wrote in a message to the rappers on Wednesday. “N***a, you knew gunna wasn’t no gangster when he told the first time,” Savage concluded. “And we swept it under the rug for you, you know he wasn’t tryna leave you to hang n**a f**k the streets, we ain’t get s**t but trauma from that s**t.”
Young Thug did eventually respond to 21 Savage’s plea. But he didn’t exactly agree to patch things up with Gunna. Instead, it was more about reaffirming that he and Savage are still solid.
“@21savage I love u, my brada. You’ve always been with me,” Young Thug said in his response to the rap star.

There had been reported friction between Gunna and Young Thug. After Gunna entered a plea deal in the YSL RICO trial. That friction was confirmed after a series of Young Thug’s recorded prison phone calls leaked. And in one of the leaks, he blames Gunna. For being the reason that the YSL investigation was made into a RICO.
He later went on to say that Gunna’s plea deal was “harmful” to him despite not being used in the case.
“Was Gunna takin’ that plea harmful to me? Yes, 100%,” Thug said to Big Bank. “First we tellin’ the jurors ‘YSL ain’t a gang.’ Now [after the plea deals] we goin’ back to the jurors sayin’, ‘Well, some people might say it’s a gang — but we ain’t a part of that part of it. We are part of the record label.”
At the time of writing, Gunna has not responded to 21 Savage or Gunna.
