Childish Gambino aka Donald Glover is finally getting the mainstream props we’ve always known he deserves. He’s an award-winning musician, writer, actor and performer. Saturday Night Live decided Gambino can do double duty and serve as both host and performer on an upcoming May 5th episode of the show.
Glover is no stranger to 30 Rock Studios in NYC with his NBC hit show Community that he did 4 seasons of. Not to mention his appearances on the show 30 Rock itself.
SNL announced the rapper/actor’s upcoming appearance on Instagram. He will be gracing the stage and the skits on the long-running TV show on May 5. “Attention Donald Glover fans… you don’t want to miss this one. @childishgambino #SNL,” the promo reads.
With his writing skills in comedy mixed with his performance skills on the mic this shall be an episode to remember.
