50 Cent’s social media persona has been likened to that of Candyman over the last several years. Say his name and the rap star will appear. Almost every time. Star actress Vivica A. Fox just learned that the hard way.
50 Cent Responds to Vivica A. Fox
During a recent appearance at the Ultimate Women’s Expo in New Jersey in November, the Two Can Play That Game star threw some shade at the Get Rich or Die Tryin’ creator when she was asked to give dating advice.
“Don’t date 50 Cent, don’t date no damn rappers,” she said as caught by HotNewHipHop. “Just so you know, it took me years to be able to laugh about it. I had to learn to laugh, not to cry no more, but I did it.”
It did not take long for the Power creator to catch wind of Vivica’s comments. And once he did, he took to social media to weigh in.
50 posted an AI-generated photo of him holding a red pill and a blue bill. Similar to the iconic scene in The Matrix film. The photo was also accompanied by a caption where he tells Vivica that enough time has passed. And it is time for her to move on.
“Either way I’m a have that ass in the matrix, you know I love me some you girl, but Damn it’s been 22 years Vivica,” the rap star wrote on Instagram on November 11.

The rap artist and film star began dating in 2003, after 50 Cent shot his shot at Vivica during an appearance at that year’s BET Awards. The couple would also go on to make a few public appearances together at events such as the MTV Video Music Awards. However, the honeymoon phase did not last long, and neither did the relationship. They split after less than a year together.
