Jadakiss Rips Will.i.Am for Jay-Z, Black Thought Comments
On the most recent episode of his weekly program, Jadakiss aired out famed Black Eyed Peas member Will.i.Am for his recent comments about Jay-Z and Black Thought. Calling him out for hunting for clicks.
“You’ll never hear a rapper compare ColdPlay to Black Eyed Peas.. just wanna small talk and get clicks,” he said of Will.iAm’s comments.
“You know, you wouldn’t hear Black Thought say Backstreet Boys is better than *NSYNC… Leave our culture alone… The type of music you do ain’t even our type of music. To just go up there and put two people against each other.”

Jadakiss’s rant was about Will.i.Am’s comments during a recent appearance on Sway’s Universe. During the conversation with Sway, the famed Black Eyed Peas member weighed in with a controversial statement. Claiming that Roots member, Black Thought, is “a trillion times” better than HOV.
“That dude’s the dopest to ever,” he said. “[He] is a trillion times better than Jay-Z.”
Will.i.am also went on to say that he thinks the two emcees should battle each other. Assuming that they haven’t already.
“In my mind’s eye, there’s a battle that’s gonna happen, or it’s already happened,” he added.
“And seeing Black Thought, what he’s capable of off the top– and yeah, Jay’s off the top is dope too, and Jay is dope, don’t get me wrong, but Jay has already said everything, he’s just regurgitating everything that he’s already said. Everything that Black Thought comes up with is like, ‘Wait, I never heard that one. Wow, you split that word up like that?’ That’s just me.”
