Rap star Tekashi 6ix9ine was back in the news to kick off the week, and as usual, it is not for a good reason. On Sunday Night (November 16). Four men entered the rap star’s Florida home, armed, to pull off a home invasion. Unfortunately, 6ix9ine’s mother was at home during the time of the burglary. So they held her down at gunpoint while they trashed his home.
6ix9ine Breaks Silence Following Home Invasion
For the first time since the incident, Tekashi spoke out.
In a video uploaded to his social media account, 6ix9ine said that under normal circumstances, he would have been at his home due to the fact that he is on house arrest. However, he was allowed to leave for work-related reasons, to stream with influencer Jack Doherty. 6ix9ine notes that the culprits used that opportunity to ransack his home, knowing that he wasn’t present.
“Yesterday, they allowed me to leave for work. People saw that I was on a livestream with Jack Doherty. They took that opportunity to f******g do some p*ssy sh*t. It’s me, so I get it,” he said in the video.
“The rules are different for me. If it were your favorite artist, your favorite actor, and that was done, they don’t get any cool points for that. My mom is 60 years old. Y’all know I’m supposed to come home. Y’all know I’m home all the time. I’m on house arrest. So, y’all take the opportunity that I’m not home and y’all see me on livestream with Jack Doherty in Miami and y’all do that. That’s p****y s**t.”

However, users in the comments section did not have a lot of sympathy for the rap star.
“He’s been moving recklessly way too much recently and even saying on livestream he has no security,” one person said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“He literally told the world he had no security at or near his home… talks so damn much,” another user added.
At the time of writing, no arrests have been made.
