Roc Nation and Megan Thee Stallion have once again been named in legal filings, this time over allegations tied to the rapper’s Hot Girl Summer swimwear campaign.
According to court documents, two models claim they were contracted to appear in the campaign with the understanding that their likenesses would be used strictly for social media promotion. The plaintiffs allege that their images were later displayed on billboards and used in broader nationwide advertising without renegotiating their contracts, securing additional consent, or providing further compensation.
The models argue that the expanded use of their images went beyond the original scope of their agreements, prompting them to take legal action. As part of the filing, a jury trial has been requested.
Neither Roc Nation nor Megan Thee Stallion has publicly commented on the allegations at this time.
