People have differing opinions about the rap artist, The Game. But regardless of what your take on him is, one thing that you can’t deny is his hitmaking ability.

The Game: 50 Cent is Only Verzuz Opponent That ‘Makes Sense’

The Compton-born artist has delivered several classics, such as “Hate It or Love It,” “How We Do,” and “One Blood,” which are still ringing true today. With an impressive discography, many people have thought about who would give The Game a run for his money in a potential Verzuz matchup. When asked by The Shade Room who he felt would be a worthy opponent who could go hit-for-hit with him, Game said that 50 Cent is the best option.

“It would only make sense if it were me and 50 [Cent],” The Game said of a potential Verzuz matchup. “Just because of our history and the magnitude of the artist.”

However, fans in the comments section of the social media post appeared to have a different opinion.

“Game doesn’t stand a chance with 50’s catalogue if we’re being honest,” one fan wrote under the Instagram post.

“He can’t use the documentary album because 50 wrote half of it,” another user added.

“He doesn’t even have enough hits to go against 50 Cent,” another user chimed in.

Rap Star Gets Honest About Past Feud With 50

The beef between 50 Cent and The Game began in the early 2000s. The catalyst of their feud was The Game refusing to participate in 50 Cent’s other beefs, particularly with Nas. This led to 50 Cent questioning The Game’s loyalty and ultimately kicking the rap star out of G-Unit.

During a recent interview with The Cruz Show on Real 92.3 L.A., the rap artist likened his and 50 Cent’s beef to Tupac and Biggie’s. Noting he thought it would end with one of them being killed.

“And I also thought, since Biggie and ‘Pac got murdered, that when it’s on, it’s on,” the rap star said of him and 50’s Beef via No Jumper on Instagram. “Because two of my favorites died beefing. So it’s like, when and 50 were going through it, I thought either he gon to kill me or I’m going to kill him. So I needed to kill him first, you know what I’m saying? And that was the mind state of me in my 20s, man.”
