Despite having one of the worst approval ratings of a sitting United States president, Donald Trump’s reputation among celebrities seems to improve daily. He has earned the support of some of the more popular artists in the world, such as Ye, formerly known as Rap Star Kanye West, NBA Youngboy, and, most recently, Nicki Minaj.
Joe Budden Predicts More Artists Will Support Donald Trump
While Trump’s ballooning popularity has led to a lot of outcry from the general public, Joe Budden doesn’t believe that it will necessarily change anything. In fact, he predicts that in the future, even more artist will show their support for him.
“It’s a lot of money over there,” Budden said during a recent appearance on Club Shay Shay. “There will be plenty more celebrities to take that check.”
Budden also noted that even though he expects most celebrities to sell out for a check, he won’t be in that number.
“My views and how I was raised? No,” he said when Sharpe asked if he would ever support.
Budden isn’t just blowing smoke either. He had a long-running relationship with Nicki Minaj. But after she threw her support behind MAGA by appearing at the Turning Point USA Conference with Erika Kirk, he vowed never support her again.
“So I’m out, Done. That was it. Sorry, I’m gone,” he said of the rap star. “That was the last candle on the cake for me. Sorry, Barbz, sorry Nicki. Please don’t call me. Don’t text me. It is what it is. Sometimes, how you move around out there does affect how I view you. This was one of those things. I’d be a fool to think that you didn’t consider that before you did it, which just says to me that you don’t really give a f**k.”
Trump’s presidential term is set to end in 2028. But rumors have swirled that he could end up seeking a third term.
