Ray J’s Manager Speaks Out About Viral Bleeding Eyes Video
The clip quickly went viral online and obviously sparked concern among his fans. Many are wondering why the artist is still doing shows while his condition is so severe. However, his manager, Melinda Santiago, recently told PEOPLE that even though the One Wish creator doesn’t currently have a clean bill of health, he is still expected to perform his duties.
“We all know that Ray J has been under the weather, but all the artists that work with me gotta do their job whether they are bleeding or not,” Santiago said to the outlet.
The R&B singer also appeared to echo her sentiments in a social media post where he said: “WHATEVER MELINDA SAYS GOES,” with an accompanying blood drop emoji
Fans were particularly concerned because of Ray J’s January 2026 health update.s. He was very candid about his deteriorating health. And shared that his heart was only beating at “about 25%.”
Later that month, he also shared that he did not have long to live. And he predicted that he would not make it past 2027 because his heart had turned “black” due to severe drug and alcohol abuse.
“I f–ked up,” Ray J explained (Via E!). “I think I thought I had more weight, I thought I was big, so I could handle all the alcohol, I could handle all the Adderall, I could handle all the drugs—but I couldn’t. It curved my time here.”
