Kim Scott, the ex-wife of rap icon Eminem, is reportedly facing legal trouble after being charged with driving while intoxicated following a car crash earlier this week.
According to TMZ, the incident occurred around 8 p.m. on Monday (Feb. 16), when Kim was driving her son and his friends home from a shopping trip. During the drive, she allegedly struck a parked vehicle but did not stop. Authorities say the situation escalated when she later crashed into her own garage door while attempting to pull into her driveway.
A neighbor who witnessed the events contacted police, who responded to the scene. Kim was transported to a local hospital to receive treatment for injuries she sustained during the crash.
She now faces two misdemeanor charges: operating a vehicle while intoxicated and failure to stop or identify after causing property damage. Despite the charges, Kim was not arrested at the scene, and her attorney has stated that she does not currently have any active warrants related to the incident.
The situation adds another difficult chapter to Kim Scott’s public history, as she now prepares to address the charges through the legal process.
