Matthew Knowles, the father of music icon Beyoncé, recently went viral after he abruptly stormed out of a recent interview. And of course, 50 Cent, the king of social media, had to add in his two cents.
50 Cent Reacts to Viral Matthew Knowles Interview
In a recent social media post, 50 Cent found the entire situation hysterical.
“HAHAHAH WHY HE GET UP as THAT LOL,” 50 Cent wrote on social media on Tuesday.
Knowles recently appeared on PIX11’s “Kandid with Kendis” to promote his Destiny’s Child tribute tour. During the one-on-one, Pix11 host Kendis Gibson credited Matthew and his ex-wife, Tina Knowles, for spearheading Destiny’s Child’s rise to fame.
However, Matthew took exception to Kendis also crediting Tina for the group’s success.
“What work did she put in?” he snapped back at the Pix11 host.
Gibson eventually referenced the fact that Miss Tina would style the group’s hair and make their performance outfits. To which Matthew appeared to agree, saying that he was “absolutely right.”
However, he was still noticeably perturbed. And shortly after, Knowles un-miced himself and stormed out of the interview. In a moment that went viral on social media on Tuesday.
And many users were deeply disappointed by his actions.
“Here I am thinking he actually respected Miss Tina, and he’s out here questioning her contributions to the success of DC. Unbridled audacity,” one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Lord, take all of beyoncé’s pain and give it to Matthew Knowles,” a second user added.
“Tina, BIRTH AND RAISED, BEYONCE, that’s enough contribution! Da f**k! But we KNOW she did more than that. Hush, Matt,” a third user chimed in.
At the time of writing, Miss Tina has not responded to Matthew’s viral interview.
