Rap artist Cam’ron has responded to the comments made by Spurs big man Luke Kornet and NBA Champion Al Horford’s criticisms surrounding the Atlanta Hawks upcomiung “Magic City Night.”
The franchise will pay homage to Magic City when they take on the Orlando Magic in March. And while many of the city’s inhabitants are excited to see one of Atlanta’s iconic landmarks put into the spotlight, Kornet penned an open letter expressing his disdain over the collaboration. Calling it disrespectful to women.
Cam’ron Rips Kornet, Horford Over Recent Comments
There have been mixed reviews about Kornet’s open letter, with many agreeing that collaborating with the brand would reflect poorly on the league. But rapper-turned-podcaster, Cam’ron, is not buying what Kornet is selling.
During a recent episode of his sports talk show, It is What it Is, Killa Cam went scorched earth on the Spurs’ big man over his comments. Noting that the event will provide everything that fans want to see.
“You mad because grown men want to see titties and a**,” Cam said (via KillaKreww/X). “Not saying that’s what’s going to be there. They are just representing that night. And I bet you one thing. I bet you courtside will be flooded—Boosie, 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane, all the n****s that we want to see. F**k, are you talking about the audacity of you, man?”

Warriors big man Al Horford was one of the people who stood by Kornet after he made those comments. And Cam called him out for getting in the middle of it.
“And Al Horford, you too, mind your business,” he continued. “This doesn’t have anything to do with you. Don’t jump on the n***a bandwagon, yo. You are Spanish. Ya’ll got the most beautiful strippers. F**k, what are you talking about, yo?”
Cam also hit back at the notion that the collab is disrespectful to women. Noting that a lot of the dancers choose that profession because of how lucrative it is.
“Degrading women? These women are making a living man. You know, a lot of these women make good money off of this man. It’s some dancers right now, tell ya’ll ‘f**k off. because you f*****g up my income,” he concluded.
At the time of writing, Kornet and Horford have not responded to Cam’ron’s comments.
