The Notorious B.I.G.’s son, Christopher Wallace Jr., is reportedly challenging changes made to his grandmother Voletta Wallace’s will just 15 days before her death in February 2025.
According to court documents reportedly obtained by TMZ, Voletta’s original 2020 will left most of her personal belongings and properties to Christopher and his sister, while her interest in the company that manages Biggie’s estate was designated for her foundation.
Christopher claims that shortly before her death, Voletta signed an amendment that removed her grandchildren from the will and named Biggie’s former manager, Wayne Barrow, as executor of her estate.
He is now questioning the legitimacy of that amendment, alleging that Voletta was in declining health, frequently bedridden and taking several medications at the time it was signed. Christopher also claims the signatures appearing on the amendment are inconsistent and may require examination by a handwriting expert.
Christopher is asking a judge to invalidate the amendment and remove Barrow as executor of Voletta’s estate.
The dispute follows a separate legal battle involving Faith Evans, in which Barrow reportedly won a ruling granting him access to Voletta’s share of profits from Biggie’s trust. Faith is reportedly holding those funds while the courts determine who is legally entitled to receive them.
The case now puts control of Voletta Wallace’s estate—and potentially assets connected to Biggie’s legacy—at the center of a growing family legal dispute.
