Tyler The Creator has proven he has many talents. From rapping, to producing, to acting, and modeling, Tyler has consistently taken on any challenge thrown at him. Now, it appears he’ll enter the world of video interviews.
Who Is Tyler The Creator interviewing?
On Tuesday (April 7th) Tyler reposted a clip from Instagram account humantohuman37, where he sits on the couch with the legendary R&B singer Miss Jill Scott.
“Getting back to Human connection with @missjillscott + @feliciathegoat,” the post said.
In the clip, Scott recites the intro lyrics to her new song “Be Great,” sounding poetic in conversation, then explaining her views on human connection.
“In my heart of hearts, I really want to spark a personal internal revolution,” Scott said. “I think that we’re holding onto things that don’t matter. We’re not loving deeply enough.”
She then discusses the emotions that come with making art.
“I’m very excited about things and the void when the album ends,” Scott said. “When you listen to the whole thing, when it’s over, I want there to be a void like ‘oh.’ So you just have to play it over, that’s the goal.
Tyler, struck in amazement, calls Scott’s comments heavy before embracing her. The video ends with a title card that reads “Human To Human.”
Not much is known about the series or Tyler’s involvement, but the interview will reportedly drop Friday (April 10th).
What Has Tyler And Jill Scott Been Up To?
The Grammy-winning rapper has been busy as of late, attending award shows for his role in the Oscar-nominated Marty Supreme.
Tyler is also working on the lineup for his annual music festival, Camp Flog Gnaw.
Jill Scott is promoting her upcoming tour To Whom This May Concern, along with her album of the same name. The album is her first in over 10 years.
