Soulja Boy Set to Perform at Hawks, Knicks Game 3
According to a release, Soulja Boy will headline the halftime show. For Game 3 of the matchup between the Hawks and Knicks. And he is excited about the opportunity.
“Playoff atmosphere is just different,” Soulja Boy said in the release. “I am excited to do my part to add to Atlanta’s homecourt advantage during our first home game of the series.”
Atlanta artists Pastor Troy and Mike Clark Jr. are also set to be a part of the evening’s entertainment schedule.
The Hawks will look to take a 2-1 lead over the Knicks in Game 3 of the series.
This has been a comeback season for the Hawks. At the All-Star break in February, they were one of the worst teams in the Eastern Conference with a record of 26-30 and on the brink of being out of playoff contention. But after the All-Star break, they finished the second half of the season with a record of 20-6 and earned themselves the 6th spot in the Eastern Conference.
When addressing the media after Game 2, Snyder said that he and the team were “grateful” to be in this position. But says he won’t put a “ceiling” on how far they can go.
“Happy to be here, grateful to be here. But at the same time. I just don’t want to put a ceiling on this group,” he said. “We are young, and it’s the first time our core guys have been in this situation. … I think it’s also true that you can embrace the opportunity to have success in the playoffs as well.”
