Rap star Young Thug is not backing down from Rich Homie Quan’s team in a recent social media post.
Young Thug Responds to Rich Homie Quan’s Team
Earlier this week, the YSL founder posted a clip of him and the late photo performing on stage. And questioned where things went wrong because he never “switched” on Quan.
However, Quan’s brother, Rich Homie Dre, appeared to hit back at Thugger in a social media post on Wednesday (May 6), stating that the rappers’ “pride and ego” were the reason that the two of them fell out before his untimely passing. But Young Thug responded by saying that it was Quan who “went against” him first. So Thug believes that Quan should have been the one to initiate the reconciliation.
“Quan went against me, my n***a, how was it my pride? If your homie does some bulls**t toward you, you’re supposed to reach out first?” he wrote in an Instagram story shared by Kurrco on X.
Young Thug also suggested that his track record speaks for itself when it comes to his loyalty.
“No n**** on this earth goin tell u I switched up on them n**** I’m the definition of loyalty, And almost every n**** I no has switched on me at least once,” he added.

However, people in the comments section in the social media post were not buying what the rapper was selling.
“Bro switched up on Gunna, so I don’t know what he is talking about,” one person wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“This statement should not come from him coz we all know that he ain’t the definition of loyalty,” a second user chimed in.
“Lol thug acting like he didn’t say b***h homie quan on stage dude is a clown,” a third user remarked.
Rich Homie Quan died from an accidental drug overdose after taking multiple drugs, including fentanyl, alprazolam, codeine, and promethazine in 2024.
