Doja Cat has had an interesting week. The multi-faceted artist called out Elon Musk on main, and now, is dealing with a disappointing setback.
What Happened To The Doja Cat Set?
It began with weather issues at the festival, putting her set, and other acts on the main stage, in doubt. Then, she got the news and addressed the situation on social media.
“Barcelona i am fully dressed and ready to go to stage but it’s just not safe enough to continue the show tonight,” Doja Cat posted. “I’m so sorry that this is how this s*** has to be right now. I will think of everything I can under the sun to make it up to you. Please stay safe and warm I will see you again I promise.”
In another post, she reiterated her disappointment
“Unfortunately it is cancelled due to weather,” Doja Cat posted. “I mean what I said in the post prior. Giant hugs tears and kisses to you all tonight.”
She wasn’t lying about the giant tears. Immediately after the announcement, she took to Instagram Live to talk to her fans.
In the video, she’s dressed up in a luxurious costume, crying profusely as she tries to address the situation further.
“I woke up tired, not feeling good, and the only thing getting me through was doing my show,” Doja Cat said. “But the weather didn’t get better…Tonight was supposed to happen and it didn’t. I don’t know what that means…I’m absolutely crushed.”
Doja Cat also said she was going to perform despite a knee issue.

What Else Is Going On With Her?
She also took to X to do her usual troll of Elon Musk, a tradition she’s held since he took over the site. However, due to the decline of the site’s functionality, Doja was less interested in being funny, and more into blasting the billionaire.
“hey elon if u see this please put the audio post feature back on here,” Doja Cat posted. Thanks, u frog build looking b****. Barrel chested ewok u look like u eat sand.”
Elon Musk has not responded for comment.
