Big30 is back in album mode. But before he drops his next project, he wants to make sure he is fully protected. Amid his federal trial.
Big30 Teases New Project With Lengthy Disclaimer
In a post to his Instagram account on June 22,Big30 teased a new project. Which will apparently release next month. Part of the caption reads “07/__/26,” hinting at a July drop.
Amid his federal kidnapping and armed robbery trial, Big30 released a statement. And ensured listeners that the lyrics are strictly “artist expression.” In other words, nothing is based on true events.
“The lyrics contained in these songs are a form of artistic expression and storytelling. They do not reflect the personal beliefs, intentions, or real-life actions of the performer,” part of the statement reads.
The disclaimer appears to be a calculated move. To make sure that any violent lyrics cannot be presented as evidence in his upcoming trial.
“Any accompanying music videos, visual content, promotional materials or performances are likewise creative works intended for entertainment purposes only,” the statement continues. “…The performer does not endorse or encourage any unlawful or harmful behavior referenced in the lyrics or depicted in any visual content. “
If you’re tardy to the party, the feds believe that Big30 was one of several men that Pooh Shiesty led on an excursion from Memphis to Dallas to confront Gucci Mane. Shiesty led Gucci to believe that they were having a one-on-one meeting at his studio in Dallas. To amicably resolve a contract dispute and release him from his record deal with 1017 Brick Squad. But when Gucci declined, the other men blitzed him. And coerced the rapper to sign the documentation, releasing him from his deal.
They also allegedly robbed Gucci and his entourage of luxury items such as Rolex watches.
The trial begins in February 2027
