What Else Has Been Going On With The Legendary Producer?
According to newly surfaced court documents, the legend claims he produced several songs released in 2022 but alleges that his name got nixed from the official credits. Among the records mentioned in the filing are Motomami and La Combi Versace by Rosalía, Cash In Cash Out, Pure by Kendrick Lamar, Real One by Latto, and Lost and Found by Nigo featuring Tyler, The Creator.
His legal team also addressed the dynamics behind The Neptunes brand in the filing. His attorney stated that Hugo played a central role in shaping the duo’s sound.
“Mr. Hugo was principal composer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist, and producer responsible for programming, instrumentation, and overall sound design, while Defendant Williams more frequently appeared as the public-facing member of the duo,” the statement read.
