Kendrick Lamar and The Game were once cool. Both represented two kids from Compton who made it out. However, several incidents have led to beef and TDE associate Keem offered some previously unknown information.

Keem was streaming, deciding to add more context to stories from Stat Quo. He claims Quo told him that the Documentary rapper tried to “pop up” on Dr. Dre looking for record clearances.

“He said Game was outside the studio… ‘Dre! Come on, I know you like that freestyle, this hot s**t I’m spitting,'” he remarked. “He said they wasn’t letting him in the studio. They wasn’t f***ing with it. They said Dre planned on shelving Game. This is what Stat Quo said…”

Then, Keem spoke on the torch-passing event in 2015, where Game, Dre, Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, and others marked Kendrick as the next great West Coast rapper. However, he says Quo told him Game was mixed on the experience. “I don’t think everybody was on board that showed up,” he claimed. “This is Stat’s words again…”

Top Dawg also alluded to Game and Drake’s friendship being the last straw with Kendrick, doing irreparable damage to their relationship.

Game Denies Kendrick & Him Are Beefing

The Game is pushing back on recent claims that Kendrick Lamar stopped speaking to him after Drake dissed Kendrick during a 2015 appearance in Compton.

According to Stat Quo, he had a phone conversation about the alleged fallout and was told that Kendrick cut the “Hate It Or Love It” rapper off following the incident. Game responded by questioning that logic during a conversation with the 3rd Verse Podcast.

He pointed out that he never took issue with Kendrick working alongside 50 Cent on an episode of Power in 2018, despite Game and 50’s long-standing feud.

The Compton rapper’s response suggests he does not believe the Drake incident should have been enough to damage his relationship with Kendrick.

However, later on he left a cryptic comment on a video detailing him and Kendrick’s relationship, which seemed to allude to actual beef.

“One day I’m gone pull the curtain down so you can see every clown in they circus.”
