The Snoop Dogg biopic has almost finished rolling out its cast.
So far, we know, most of the cast. Lauren London as Snoop Dogg’s late mother Beverly Tate, Myles Bullock as Dr. Dre, Algee Smith as Warren G, Camron Jones as Tupac Shakur, Corey Champagne as Nate Dogg, and more. Snoop is played by Jonathan Daviss of Outer Banks. Tre Hale plays Suge Knight.
However, a couple of key figures have yet to be cast, until now.
SwayvoTwain (Family Legacy, Love & Neo-Soul: Honoring the Legacy of D’Angelo) will portray The Notorious BIG, Biggie Smalls in the film. Furthermore, Bentley Green (The Land, Undercard, White Men Can’t Jump, Snowfall) will play RBX and California rapper G Perico (Kings of L.A, She Ball) acts as Big Reecie Cup.
Sway is the son of late legends Angie Stone and D’Angelo. He’s followed in his parents footsteps as a soul-fusion artist with songs such as “Twain Flow” and “Snapple Apple.”

What Else Do We Know About The Snoop Film
The film comes from Universal Pictures, who’s coming off the billion dollar Michael.
They’ve tagged Director Craig Brewer, known for his music-centric stories including Song Sung Blue, Katy Perry: Part Of Me, Hustle & Flow, and the Footloose remake. Snoop Dogg will serve as an executive producer, teasing at Cinemacon that the film will for sure nab an R rating. He then encouraged kids to get their parents’ permission.
“After my brothers got to tell their story with Straight Outta Compton, now it’s my turn,” Snoop said.
