DaBaby is standing behind the price tag on one of the menu items at his new restaurant after his $45 waffle sparked conversation online.
During a television appearance, the Charlotte rapper addressed people questioning why a waffle would cost that much, explaining that customers are paying for more than a basic breakfast item.
“You shoulda went to Waffle House,” DaBaby said. “Waffle House has something for you, but if you want an elevated dining experience, this isn’t just water and flour.”
DaBaby also discussed what comes with the $45 offering, emphasizing that the restaurant is positioning itself as a higher-end dining experience rather than a traditional breakfast spot.
