The contentious relationship between KarrahBooo and Lil Yachty is well documented. The Concrete girl, a former member of Yachty’s rap collective, Concrete Boys, first turned heads when she didn’t appear at performances with the group. Then, Karrah revealed she tried to get out of her deal but Yachty wouldn’t let her. Yachty clapped back, claiming he wrote every word she ever rapped and even “dressed” her.

Basically, Yachty, said he made Karrah and was responsible for her career, not her own talent. This upset Karrah greatly and she went on a dissing spree against Yachty.

However, the two have since reconciled, with Karrah going on Yachty’s podcast to bury the hatchet. The problem is, sometimes putting things in the past brings back the trauma. And quickly, the discussion went off the rails.

During the sit down, Yachty and Karrah got into a heated argument about the ghostwriting accusations. Yachty claimed he wrote most of Karrah’s verses. Karrah rebutted, saying she wrote most of the songs that initially blew her up. Yachty took offense that he felt she was saying she did this alone, which Karrah denied as she began to cry.

“Tell them [everyone] that I wrote my s***!!,” she screamed.

Yachty’s co-host looked like he wanted to be anywhere else. Yachty admitted he didn’t write her biggest songs, but he took credit for her On The Radar viral moment, and several of her other songs. Karrah didn’t deny this, but she didn’t like how Yachty was taking full credit for her success and trying to spin that she never wrote anything.

Eventually, the co-host got so uncomfortable with the back and forth that they cut the segment short.

Yachty & Karrah Apologize

Then, they reset, and both Karrah and Yachty apologized to each other. They each admitted that the internet twisting narratives had them feeling some type of way.

“The most important thing that I learned is that hurt people do hurt things,” Yachty expressed.

He then admitted to exaggerating how much involvement he has with Karrah and his group’s writing process and fashion, saying he regretted that it led to people disparaging her.

Karrah accepted the apology, in turn, saying she doesn’t think he hates women and apologized for criticizing him about his involvement in his child’s life.

They recently re-united on her album Not Da 2, for the track “Patched It Up,” a fitting title.
