50 Cent Announces Eminem Has A New Album On The Way

Eminem was supposed to contribute exponentially to the Street Fighter soundtrack with 50 Cent but ended up bailing on the project. Fif knows why.

In a recent interview at the Street Fighter premiere, 50 spilled the beans.

“He put a couple pieces together [for the album] and decided because it got closer to his album, he fell back to prepare the presentation for his next album.”

This comes as Kid Rock stoked rumors about making a Christian rap album with Eminem, as the Detroit duo gear up to unveil their new single off Rock’s upcoming album.

Originally teasing the song in an interview with the Today show, 50 explained the collab that didn’t end up coming to fruition.

“I got some new music that I’m working on with Eminem and Tupac,” 50 Cent told the baffled hosts.

He then clarified how he could make a song with the long deceased legend.

“His estate, it’s not ai, actually it’s for the theme for Street Fighter the movie,” 50 Cent said. “And then we worked on it and got it right. [It drops] soon, it’s coming out shortly.”

Apparently, according to 50, Em was supposed to be much more involved with the film’s music.

Eminem has not commented on the new album at this time.
