Offset lost his grandmother to bladder cancer just five years ago. Now Offset has teamed up with the American Cancer Society to raise $500,000 in his grandmother’s memory. The money is being raised to help with cancer prevention and to give access to care in underserved communities.
Offset’s grandmother Sallie Ann Smith was one of his most important mentors. “It was really tough losing my grandma to cancer and one of the hardest things I have dealt with in my life,” Offset wrote on the American Cancer Society’s page. “She motivated me to do my best and go for it; one of my biggest coaches.”
Keep up the great work Offset.
