Benzino has chimed in the Culture Vulture discussion that Dame Dash has brought to the forefront in his disdain for music industry executive Lyor Cohen.
Hot 97 DJ Funk Flex has inserted himself into the situation by defending Lyor Cohen and creating a back and forth with Dame Dash. Benzino ask the question of where was all this Culture Vulture talk when he was calling out Eminem for disrespecting Black Women?
In a lengthy now deleted Instagram post Benzino highlights that Funk Flex took Eminem’s side in the situation and only Miss Jones and Star at Hot 97 defended Benzino’s position at the time. Benzino calls out Dash for also turning a blind eye to the situation and says Jay Z went on to record “Renegade” with Eminem anyway.
The song that Benzino brought to question was an early Eminem recording that contain the lyrics “Blacks and whites they sometimes mix. But black girls only want your money cause they’re dumb chicks. So I’mma say like this. Don’t date a black girl, take it as a diss. If you want, but if you don’t I’mma tell you like this, I surely won’t.Never date a black girl because blacks only want your money” and “I’ll get straight to the point, black girls are bitches”
And also “Black girls and white girls just don’t mix because black girls are dumb and white girls are good chicks. White girls are good, I like white girls I like white girls all over the world. White girls are fine and they blow my mind and that’s why I’m here now telling you this rhyme. Cause black girls, I really don’t like we don’t mix, it’s like riding a bike”
