Nearly 30 years after the death of Tupac Shakur, the late rapper’s estate is once again facing legal issues — this time from longtime collaborator Daz Dillinger.
According to reports, Daz Dillinger, born Delmar Arnaud, has filed a lawsuit against Tupac’s estate over alleged unpaid royalties connected to music they worked on together during the Death Row Records era. Dillinger played a major role in crafting several records on Tupac’s iconic album All Eyez on Me, including “Ambitionz az a Ridah,” “I Ain’t Mad at Cha,” and “2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted” featuring Snoop Dogg.
The lawsuit, reportedly detailed by Rolling Stone, claims Daz has not received royalty payments he believes he is owed for his contributions to Tupac’s music catalog. Specific financial details surrounding the case have not yet been publicly disclosed.
Tupac’s estate has faced multiple legal disputes over the years involving music rights, royalties, and ownership claims as the rapper’s legacy continues to generate significant revenue decades after his passing.
