Hip-Hop is a culture born out of The Bronx with roots in the Caribbean. Hip-Hop in it’s essence with the DJing, breaking, tagging, etc had large Puerto Rican involvement from inception.
Needless to say Puerto Ricans have always been a big part of Hip-Hop long before the world discovered the greatness of Big Pun on the mic or the impact of Fat Joe. The Puerto Rican influence on Hip-Hop is immeasurable and to see Hip-Hop coming together to do everything possible to help Puerto Rico during this time of extreme need is very necessary.
Do all you can to help in your own way. Checkout some things the Hip-Hop community has done to help Puerto Rico.
