Reports that JAY-Z and Eminem will deliver their first musical collab since the 00s have been going wild. However, the validity of the report has been called into question, namely, by Eminem’s right hand man, Paul Rosenberg.
What Did Paul Rosenberg Say?
On Monday (June 8th), XXL posted the news on Instagram that according to veteran producer M80, JAY-Z and Eminem had a new track together. The interlude is rumored to appear on the new Rakim, Kurupt, and Masta Ace collab album.
However, Eminem’s longtime manager and the former CEO of Def Jam, Paul Rosenberg, saw the post and gave his thoughts.
“News to me,” Rosenberg commented.
According to the original post, Eminem and JAY-Z are billed on a track titled “Six,” an interlude for the album. It’s unclear if this will be new material from the duo, or recycled audio.
Neither Eminem nor JAY-Z have commented on the situation.

What Are Fans And Celebrities Saying?
Naturally, many people had an opinion on the situation, including some notable names in Hip Hop.
“Smh bro it’s def a skit just sampling them in interviews. Y’all are bad at this,” Statik Selektah said.
“All I saw was track twelve ft Killa Sin !!!! I’ll buy the album just for Killa verse… I know I’m not the only one,” Sebastian Clovis said.
“Let’s Go,” Andrew Barber said.
Fans leveraged a healthy dose of excitement and skepticism.
“Real hip-hop is back,” one user posted.
“I’m not sure about this album tbh, M80 worked on a Rakim album in 2024 and it was barely any Rakim, mostly just a HUGE list of guests that idk if those were just random verses put together or not,” another user posted.
“This going down in history,” another user posted.
“‘Interlude’!!!! No verses. No music. Em and Jay aren’t THAT cool,” another user posted.
Masta Killa responded to the post with hand emojis.
Fans will find out if the report is legit when the album drops June 21st.
