Rick Ross has seen the jokes about him flying economy and has something to say. Ross set the record straight on his flying preferences.
“”For the ones who wanna know where my jet at, I obviously didn’t get the memo. It’s being updated with Starlink. You know what Starlink is? Yeah, that’s the half a million dollar Wi-Fi… I chose to fly commercial to Colombia to go party with Trick Daddy.”
He also made a joke saying he did it big so that’s why his hoodie was low.
This contradicts what he’s said in the past, namely, in his own book.
In Ross’ book, The Perfect Day to Boss Up, he admitted to usually taking economy flights.
“Now, I would love to kick off this book by telling you I was getting on a chartered jet to go procure a hundred kilos from a plug in Cartage-na. But that would be a fabrication,” Rick Ross wrote in his book. “I have to be honest. First of all, I was flying commercial that day, as I usually do. The PJs are nice for family vacations and romantic getaways, but when you fly as often as I do, the cost of flying private adds up quick. Flights are one of the few times l’m able to get some sleep, so to spend all that extra when I’m just going to be getting my beauty rest always seems like a waste of money. First class treats me just fine.”

Why Does Anyone Care?
In a couple images posted by a fan, Rick Ross is seen hanging out in a crowded airport, hoodie up to conceal his face. He’s not in a lounge, nor in an airline club or first class lounge. Instead, he’s waiting in a crowded terminal like everyone else.
There’s no shame in being economical during these uncertain times. However, Ross consistently preaches and flaunts a luxurious lifestyle so naturally, fans were left a bit baffled. Many even connected Drake’s line on “Whisper My Name,” to the predicament.
“If I’m lying I’m flying economy, I bet I know who I see,” Drake raps.
This obviously led to several memes and many people accusing Rick Ross of not living his raps.
