Drake may have already dropped a collab album this year, but it looks like he’s far from finished. A new solo project could be on the way—and fans are starting to connect the dots.

Streamer Adin Ross lit the fuse during a recent live session when he casually confirmed the album’s existence. “Yes, [it’s done],” Ross told his viewers on X. “I can’t tell too much, but yes, the new album is going to be amazing… I think it’s a very, very, very, very, very, very important album for Drake’s career. And I’ll explain why after. But that s**t tough.”
So what’s the name of this mysterious project? Some fans are betting on ICEMAN. And knowing Drake, that title wouldn’t come out of nowhere.
The Toronto superstar has been dropping cryptic clues all over his socials. Recently, he shared images of celebrities who go by the nickname “Iceman”—including Formula 1 driver Kimi Räikkönen and Val Kilmer in his Top Gun role. He even threw in a nod to Marvel’s Iceman, whose real name just happens to be Robert Drake. Coincidence? Probably not.
While fans decode the breadcrumbs, the Certified Lover Boy has been staying busy. Back in February, he and PARTYNEXTDOOR dropped $ome $exy $ongs 4 U—a Valentine’s Day surprise collab that’s already topped the Billboard charts multiple times.
Still, Drake’s clearly focused on more than just that project.
During a recent livestream, OVO artist Smiley shared some behind-the-scenes insight into Drake’s work ethic. “Even at the ‘Nokia’ video shoot, during a break, he had a bunch of producers and he was just recording,” Smiley said. “He’s in that crazy mode right now.”
That grind doesn’t stop at the studio either. According to Smiley, even when they hit the club, Drake has ducked out mid-party to work on music. That kind of tunnel vision only adds fuel to the fire that this next album might be something major.
Drake hasn’t officially confirmed ICEMAN—or anything else, really—but if this rollout follows his usual playbook, the teasers will only get louder. One thing’s clear: whatever he’s cooking up, he’s locked in.
