Drake has been no stranger to drama this year. It should come as no surprise if you followed his beef with Kendrick Lamar in 2024. But the backlash from their fallout was something that nobody could see coming. With all of the fractured relationships that he currently has, T-Pain criticized Drake for not heeding his own advice about making a “graceful exit.”
“One thing I learned from Drake, but one thing he hasn’t followed his own words. Drake said, ‘I wanna be one of the people that gracefully bow out and not get kicked out,’” T-Pain explained. “I have ever since said, ‘Thank y’all, I appreciate y’all. I’ll see y’all when I drop—don’t worry about it, I’ll just drop something. Let me know if you heard it.’
Drake is like, ‘No, listen, OK, I got another one. Hold on, check this out. Y’all ain’t like that one? OK, real quick, just one more. Let me try one more,’” T-Pain said.
He also added:
“He’s the person that he said, you know, he didn’t want to be. And I learned that from him. Like, when he said that, I want to gracefully bow and not get kicked out.”
Drake responded by noting that T-Pain has always had “resentment” for him. But the R&B star has yet to offer a rebuttal.
