It has been more than a year since rap stars Drake and Kendrick Lamar went head-to-head in their feud that took the music industry by storm. However, even with so much time having lapsed since the feud began, it remains a hot topic of discussion. The latest person to weigh in is NFL star, Odell Beckham Jr.
Odell Beckham Jr Sounds Off on Drake, Kendrick Feud.
The consensus has been that Kendrick Lamar defeated Drake Handily, especially after taking home eight Grammy awards and performing at the Super Bowl earlier this year. In the fallout of Drake and Kendrick’s feud, many people have said it was unwise for Drizzy to poke the bear. However, Beckham offered a different perspective. Saying that what Drake did was great for the “art of war.”
“ I even told him, I think what he did was great for the art of war,” Beckham said. “What he did and came out with at the time is great. But it’s like you, Mike Jack. Like, you, the boy, like bro, stop it. Love it. Love everything that he did. I listened like I thought it was great.
Beckham also added:
“I told him that to his face. You know what I’m saying? But at the end of the day, bro, you’re talking about Drake. Like he’s the one, he’s one of the very few […] But like at the end of the day, I had always supported that side. I had always shown up. I had always done that.”

However, even though Beckham has not been shy about pledging his allegiance to team Drake, the former New York Giants star also made sure to give Kendrick his due.
“Had I before that little beef, had I listened to Kendrick’s stuff? Yeah. Like, Kendrick is a great artist, you know what I mean? I love music. Music is what makes me me. Like, since I was little,” Odell said of Kendrick. “So, just listening to the whole thing like, bro, I thought it was great … At the end of the day, it’s always been more love this way, you know? Like, I don’t have any hate for anybody.”
