There seems to be nothing but beef in the rap industry these days. But the good news is that at least one reconciliation may be taking place in the not-so-distant future. As it appears that Playboi Carti is ready to put his differences with Ye, also known as Kanye West, behind him.
Carti Hints at Squashing Kanye Beef
During a recent show, Carti expressed the love that he has for Kanye.
“I love Ye, that n**** helped change my life bro,” Carti said during his tour stop in Chicago on Thursday (October 30).

However, fans on social media had mixed emotions about a potential reconciliation.
“Same cycle, different year. They hate Ye, they dismiss Ye, they understand Ye, they come back to Ye. Lightyears ahead,” one fan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“I’m JUST HAPPY THAT I CAN LISTEN TO MELROSE AGAIN!” another user added.
“I wish Kanye would stay far away from this guy. I wish we’d get the pink polo Kanye back,” a third user said.
Previously, Ye expressed that one of his issues with Carti was rooted in his not being involved with his latest project, I AM Music, which dropped in February.
“He sent me the song [‘We Need All Da Vibes’] with Thug and Ty, we were in the studio. We were talking about doing a mixtape. And then I called him like, ‘Bro, where’s our song?!’ It feels like on Carti’s album, he’s doing everybody a favor,” West said.
“He didn’t need to have all the f*****g features … The album could be better. That amount of songs is really ambitious. How do you do that without having me as your producer?”
But despite Ye’s rant earlier this year, Carti seems ready to let that be water under the bridge. It will be interesting to see if Ye accepts his olive branch.
