Video vixen turned media personality, Melyssa Ford, kicked off season three of her Show Hot & Bothered on Monday (November 10). And her first guest was video media personality, Charlamagne The God.
Melyssa Ford Appears to Throw Shade at Joe Budden Pod
Ford has made headlines over the past several weeks, as the rumor mill has swirled about what led to her exit from the Joe Budden Podcast. Which is why many eyebrows raised when it came to her comments about working around “a certain group of men” who have engaged in “groupthink.” She also noted that groupthink tends to “lean very misogynistically.”
“I’ve had my own experiences being around a certain group of men who have exhibited groupthink,” she said. “And that groupthink tends to lean very misogynistically. It affects you as somebody who is just kind of absorbing it, simply because I’m a woman and I’m the woman in the room.”

Many perceived this to be a shot at her former podcast co-hosts. Especially given the fact that during her tenure, Ford would often offer a differing opinion from that of her other male co-hosts.
And fans of the show expressed their opinions about her recent comments on social media.
“Women love being in men’s spaces until it’s time to be accountable for what you’ve done in life and what comes out of your mouth,” one person said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“I see a lot of comments from men about holding Mel accountable, but everybody mutes up when it’s time for Ish or Joe to be held accountable,” another user added.
“I agree the manosphere is toxic and really don’t represent what it means to be a man and show up for the people around you, it focuses on bashing women and external accomplishments without doing the work internally, however, JBP is not that,” a third user remarked.
To this point none of the Joe Budden Podcast crew have responded to Ford’s recent comments.
