50 Cent has decided to turn his beef into art. Amid his issues with disgraced music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, the Power creator is set to release a documentary about his downfall.

50 Cent Reveals Why He is Releasing Diddy Documentary

However, despite the heinous nature of his crimes, 50 Cent’s decision to produce a documentary about Combs has been met with heavy backlash. As many have accused him of kicking Diddy while he is down. However, in a new interview with Robin Roberts of Good Morning America, the rap star insisted that his decision to produce the documentary was “not personal” at all.

50 says that the upcoming film is meant to shed light on the crimes that Combs committed. He also argued that if he had not produced the documentary, people would argue that the hip-hop community deemed Diddy’s behavior acceptable.

“If I didn’t say anything, you would interpret it as Hip-Hop is fine with his behaviors,” 50 said. “There’s no one else being vocal. So you would look at it and say, ‘mind your business? Or let me say nothing,’ it would allow the entire culture to register as if they’re for that behavior.”

Combs was arrested in September 2024 on charges of trafficking, racketeering, and prostitution. Fortunately for Combs, he was not convicted on the more serious charges of racketeering and prostitution. However, he was convicted of interstate prostitution. And, as a result, he was hit with a 50-month prison sentence. Which he is currently serving at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey.

Even if his intentions are pure, 50 should proceed with caution concerning the upcoming documentary. Combs has already pursued legal action against NBC. After the airing of their documentary Making of A Bad Boy, Diddy slammed them with a $100 million defamation lawsuit,

To this point, Diddy has not made a comment about the upcoming film.
