What Else Has Staples Been Up To?
Staples has been stirring up controversy with his new music video for “Blackberry Marmalade.”
The video depicts a first person view of a mass shooting carried out at an LA diner. Recently, when a gunman stormed the White House Correspondents dinner in an assassination attempt, Staples quote tweeted the event with the title of his track.
Staples also posted on X that his music video is being age-restricted.
“If you are over the age of 18, make sure to share it with the youth around you,” Staples posted. “Our children deserve the truth.”
He recently wrapped up the Vince Staples show, ending the Netflix series after two seasons.
