Everyone was out for the New York Knicks and Atlanta Hawks Game 5 matchup on Tuesday (April 28). Including hometown rap artist, Jadakiss.
Jadakiss Sets Garden on Fire With Halftime Performance
Jada, who is a courtside regular at Madison Square Garden, took center court on Tuesday for a halftime show performance. He hyped the crowd up with a live performance of his hit record New York.
Jada wasn’t the only celeb courtside, as the Garden was star-studded as it usually is for their playoff matchups. Other celebs included Timothee Chalamet and his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, Tracey Morgan, Tina Fey, Ben Stiller, and a host of others.

The result is exactly what Jadakiss and the rest of the New York faithful were hoping for heading into Game 5 at the Garden. They won convincingly over the Hawks by a score of 126-97.
That blowout was headlined by Knicks star point guard Jalen Brunson, who led all scorers with 39 points in one of the more memorable playoff performances in Knicks history.
Things looked bleak for the Knicks earlier in the series. Especially after they lost games 2 and 3. But they have picked things up over the last few games. Outscoring Atlanta by a combined 42 points over the last two games. When asked what has changed since Game 3, Brunson said that it has been their overall approach to the game.
“It’s been a multitude of things,” Brunson said via The New York Post. “I think we have picked it up as a unit. I also think they’ve gotten a lot of looks, and we were lucky when they were missing. But just us being on the same page on both sides of the ball has been a factor.”
