It was a must-win for LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday night (May 11). Staring down a 0-3 hole, the Lakers needed a win to avoid being eliminated from the playoffs. And unfortunately, they are headed home.
Drake Fans Blast LeBron After OKC Sweeps Lakers
Despite heroic efforts from James and Austin Reaves, the defending NBA champion OKC Thunder proved to be too much to handle. As they completed the sweep over the Lakers with a 115-110 victory in Los Angeles. And of course Drake fans did not hold back with their criticisms after the Lakers’ Loss.
“If he didn’t go to that pop out, ICEMAN would be the perfect pick me up for him on Friday. But he wanted to shake a** to the ridicule of his brother,” one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
He gotta listen to Iceman in private because if he supports Drake publicly, he will look like a flip-flop. Tough Loss. Anybody who went against Drake, struggling right now,” a second user chimed in.

After being close friends for a number of years, several reports suggested that Drake was at odds with Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James. After he appeared at Kendrick Lamar’s Pop Out Concert in 2024 amid their feud. Drake all but confirmed that after he covered up his LeBron James tattoo and replaced it with a jersey of Toronto native and reigning NBA Most Valuable Player, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
