Rick Ross may have taken the L in his Verzuz battle with French Montana, but it seems the outspoken rapper isn’t worried about taking shots. While on Hot97, Ross made it clear he is not worried about Drake.

What Did Rick Ross Say About Drake?

While talking about “minusing” Drake’s vocals on “Aston Martin Music” during his battle, Ross doubled down on his lack of care for Drake.

“He lost focus, that’s it,” Ross said. “People would love for me to say I hate [Drake] but nah it ain’t that. When somebody step outta line and you gotta chastise them or give them a spanking that’s what you do. But is it one of those things where it’s a conspiracy? Hell no. Don’t nobody fear a Drake album release, nobody.”

The host then asked Ross if they could ever reconcile, prompting a curt reply from Rozay.

“He speaks to French [Montana] and French says a lot of positive things that he maybe should send French a pecan pie for it. Because, nobody wants to speak on his behalf to me, but French do. And that’s when I made it clear: If anything was to ever come through [with repairing their relationship] it would come through French.”

Basically, it seems neither side is eager to work again, despite Ross extending a conditional olive branch briefly.

What’s The Latest On Iceman?

The album is set to drop on Friday, allowing for plenty of speculation to run rampant regarding it.

On The Breakfast Club, Charlamagne Tha God said that both DJ Khaled and A$AP Rocky should listen to the project very closely.

“Khaled, you need to be on edge too, you and A$AP Rocky, y’all getting direct shots on the project,” he said.

Joe Budden claimed Drake is going to diss him on the album, though he’s since walked back those comments.

According to the We Love Hip Hop Network, a source has leaked that Lil Baby will feature on Iceman. They claim the source also said Baby is shooting a music video with Drake for the song.

And finally, a rumor has circulated that comedian Shane Gillis is currently in Toronto shooting a music video for Iceman.

None of these rumors have been confirmed. But it’s interesting to see how much merely mentioning the album can get you attention.
