Rick Ross hasn’t quite gotten over the viral backlash when he got caught flying commercial instead of private. Now, he’s trying to turn the situation into a joke by going to other regular people places.
What Is Rick Ross Doing?
On his Instagram story, Ross let people know he was about to do some shopping, but not at erewhon. Instead, he told followers he’s heading to Costco and AutoZone, saying “rich n***** shop at Cosctco.”
He then made more jokes, saying he’d have to sneak into both places so no one saw him.
The video seems to have the opposite effect Ross intended, with many commenters saying it makes him look like he was very bothered by the internet’s roasting.
“It’s kinda weird he cares this much. Like, you know how much you’re holding, why do you feel the need to prove it to others??? I would prefer to have it and have mothaf***** think I’m broke,” one user posted.
“The more he talks about it the more i know it bothered him BADLY. yikes,” another user posted.
“So lame. Self validation, insecure. People made fun of him because he makes fun of people for being broke. His biggest legacy will be wingstop stores compared to people he makes fun of like 50 cent,” another user posted.

So Everyone Got Annoyed With Ross?
Well, not exactly. As is customary, some people took the opposite stance.

“Ross just a big rich kid that’s funny, I don’t see how anybody can hate this dude,” another user posted.
“He might be the best marketer in rap. This is hilarious,” another user posted.
“Its funny cause Ross still Himself never forgot where he came from. He support small bidnesses. He was in my city support a small dispensary,” another user posted.
This comes after Ross got roasted for being caught flying economy, which led to fans connecting a specific Drake lyric. Drake’s song “Whisper My Name,” may have been directed at Ross.

This obviously led to several memes and many people accusing Rick Ross of not living his raps.
