Famed radio host Big Tigger (born Darian Morgan) was arrested in Atlanta on Saturday (June 20). On battery and child cruelty charges.
According to the arrest affidavit obtained by WSBTV-2 Atlanta, the arrest stems from an altercation between the radio host and his wife, Alicia Brown. The couple had gotten into an argument in their bedroom. Over a text with a female co-worker (perceived to be his co-host, Francesca Amika).

However, in a statement posted to his social media account, the radio host says he “unequivocally” denies the allegations that have been made against him.
“I unequivocally deny every allegation that has been made against me,” he said. “For the past 30+ years, I have built my life around relationships and community. Those who know me know the man, father, husband, and friend I have been throughout my life. Because this is an active legal matter, I am limited in what I can say. What I can say is that I have complete confidence in the facts and in the legal process. I will continue to cooperate fully and trust that the truth will come to light.”
Brown says that amid their back-and-forth, Tigger pulled out his cellphone and began recording the altercation. Browns says that after Tigger began recording, she grabbed the phone. And he tackled her to the ground in an attempt to retrieve it.
She also says that amid the back-and-forth, she went into their home office. And threatened to break a computer that she had purchased. And when Tigger tried to stop her, he “used force to move the victim and shoved the victim, causing the victim to stumble headfirst into an office door.”
Brown said she sustained several injuries, including a “small bruise to her lower lip,” and “a deep cut to her left eye.”
The child cruelty charges are because their 13-year-old son was at home during the argument, which was also caught on their RING security system.
Tigger was released on a $10,000 bond on Saturday.
