Lupe Fiasco said several controversial things during his stream appearance with Tea Koala Reacts. Many of those statements came due to his strange relationship with Kendrick Lamar.
What Did Lupe Fiasco Say?
During the stream, Lupe started talking about the skill of battle rappers, leading to a controversial assertion.
“I said there’s hundreds [of better rappers than Kendrick] and we can name them,” Lupe said. “We can start from Rosenberg Raw all the way to muthaf***** B Magic, you wanna just start listing n*****. Let’s see how far that list get before we start naming one n**** with a record deal as the better rapper.
Earlier in the clip, Lupe said that when he says there’s 100 rappers better than Kendrick, he’s also saying there’s hundreds of rappers better than himself too.
Rosenberg Raw responded to Lupe’s comments.
“Lupe don’t like me, he knew what he was doing,” Rosenberg Raw said. “I didn’t take that as a compliment at all…You were sitting there arguing about rappers being better than Kendrick Lamar. And if you are trying to make a case that there may not be rappers as famous as him or in different fields in the underground world, why the f*** did you start with me. You said 50 n*****, you couldn’t name me at 32, or 29? Why did you start with me? What the f*** is that about?”
Lupe then hopped on Rosenberg’s stream and they hashed out their differences, with Lupe apologizing to Rosenberg for getting him caught in the crossfire.

What Else Did Lupe Say?
The 3 and a half hour stream led to some revelations, with the most viral one being how Lupe believes Kendrick is a better artist than him.
““He’s a better artist than me, he makes better albums, he has a better team, he has a better beat selection, he has better production.” Lupe says. “When it comes down to lyricism, no, everything else, for sure.”
Lupe continued.
“He has more personal stories, better narratives, I don’t want to share my feelings with n**** like you,” he says. “Why the f*** would I share my personal stories with n**** who gonna talk crazy about you? I’ve said these things for years.”
The controversy stems from Lupe’s long history of talking about Kendrick, but not being acknowledged by the Multi Grammy-winning rapper.
