Rap artist Lil Boosie dropped his new track Reality Check earlier this month. And on his new record, he had some things to get off his chest. Particularly toward Jay-Z.
Boosie Calls Out Jay-Z on New Track ‘Reality Check’
In the song, Boosie blasts Jay-Z for denying Rymir Satterwaithe. A Philadelphia artist who has claimed he is Jay-Z’s biological son.
“Some of them real, some ain’t sh*t/Jaÿ-Z, that child looks just like you, how could you live with that sh*t,” Boosie raps on the track.
Boosie also doubled down on his comments, saying that the record was not a diss song but rather “real talk”
“It’s the truth. Did I tell a lie?” the rapper wrote on social media, referencing the song.

On Tuesday (July 7), Boosie shared a music video clip for his song "Reality Check Finish." On the track, the Louisiana rapper calls out Jigga.
“Some of them real, some…
Of course, once the song went viral, fans had plenty to say about it on social media.
“Man, who the f**k is playing boosie music that n***a s**t is garbage sounds horrible to the ears if u a musical genius,” one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Boosie is just using his own hand to ruin his legacy, dissing Jay Z unprovoked now,” a second user added.
“Boosie wants attention. He’s not important enough for Jay to discipline, though,” a third user remarked.
At the time of writing, Jay-Z has not responded to Boosie.
In May 2025, Satterwaithe filed a federal lawsuit accusing Jay-Z of using his power and influence to avoid DNA paternity testing. However, just two months later, in July 2025, he went on social media to reveal that he had withdrawn the civil suit against the rap star. And in November 2025, the case was dismissed with prejudice.
