Jason Lee conducted a candid interview with ASAP Rocky that dropped on BET’s YouTube this morning. In it, the Harlem rapper touched on many topics including what led to the end of ASAP MOB.
What Did Rocky Say?
After dealing with Drake questions, Lee switched it up on the New York rapper, speaking on the betrayal of ASAP Relli.
“That s*** was f***** up,” Rocky said. “I’m still hurt. I’m hurt about him, I’m hurt about Bari, hurt about a lot of them. I know they don’t give a f*** but I’m hurt. I think when me and Riri became a couple, all of my time was with her, a lot of them got nervous like ‘oh what do that mean for me, what that mean for my opportunities.”
He credits Rihanna for spotting the rats early, and wished he listened to her advice.
“One thing I got to give her grace for is she told me verbatim, ‘you see him there, that’s not your friend, you see him there, that’s your real brother, you see him, stay away from him, in 5 years, this gonna happen.’ I wasn’t arrogant, she only telling me this for a real reason, she wanna see the best for me.”
Lee then asked specifically about Relli’s betrayal.
“It was a nightmare, looking at somebody I know on the stand forever going to be labeled a rat just trying to come up off of me. That’s bum mentality…Nah bro, that n**** tried to kill me, take me away from my kids. If I had did 24 years in jail, I’m dead.”

Rocky Denies Stealing Rihanna…From Drake
Earlier in the interview, Rocky was asked about his beef with Drake, which he says is moot cuz he didn’t even steal Rihanna from him. Instead, he stole her from royalty.
“I didn’t take his girl,” Rocky said with a puzzled look on his face. “She was dating that Saudi prince dude with all that money and he couldn’t hold her cuz here come Harlem [me], don’t nothing compare to that.”
However, while Rocky denies Rihanna and Drake ever really being locked in, he acknowledges that he knows he still wants her, and frankly, finds that odd.
“I think it’s weird that everybody done moved on with their lives and m****** still strung up on that s***. It’s just bugged out to me. And then the weird internet antics and smear campaigns, we see right through that. That’s why I don’t respond to that.”
