Karen Civil is a controversial figure that’s worked for some of the biggest artists in the world. However she also has generated plenty of issues. One of such came when Max B posted about firing her. Now, Max is telling Jason Lee the full story and it’s even more wild than anyone could imagine.
“Karen Civil hacked into my [social media],” Max B says.” She’s a f**king crash out. Anyone that works with her knows she’s a crash out. I’ve hired her 20 times, fired her 20 times, she’s infatuated with the Max B business. If you in the Karen Civil business, be aware.
Jason Lee then said Civil hacked Hollywood Unlocked’s Instagram account previously, lending validity to Max B’s claims. Max B says Civil worked PR for him and then said the BET Awards security chased her out after she tried to take over production. Max B also claims she previously hacked his Myspace page years ago when the two had a dispute, right before he went to jail.
“After this interview, I guarantee if I hire her back, she’ll come back, and do what the f*** I say,” Max B said. “But she was doing too much. If you start coming around my crew acting like you running s***, guess what Imma say something. And if I say something twice, I’ll put your a** on the street.”

Max says while issues between Civil and his team were constant, the breaking point was a True Religion dinner.
“You throw on this nice tight dress when you’re supposed to be working,” he said. “She bringing a date through trying to run my establishment. Then she told one of my employee’s that this was her s***. Nah, do you write records? No. She crashed out on me 15 times, but the crash out at the BET Awards was epic. I thought she was Herschel Walker running up the stairs the way [security] was trying to grab her.”
Civil has not responded to Max’s claims, though Lee says Max’s team is allegedly suing her.
