Vince Staples is not letting fans tell him what to think as he defends a recent interview where he equated a rapper having a favorite song to a fry cook having a favorite burger.

Staples, known for his glib humor, struck a chord with fans who are dealing with economic downturn, unfulfilling work life, and a job market that isn’t improving.

This has caused the rapper to respond to fans as bluntly as his initial interview.

“My bad I was enjoying myself next time I’ll pick a burger for you h** a** n*****,” Staples posted to get the ball rolling.

Then, he kept going.

A fan called him obtuse. Staples responded by saying.

“One day we gonna talk about these hip-hop cucks and their obsession with other n***** money.”

Then, he addressed the situation.

“See, y’all aren’t mad that I don’t have a favorite song. Y’all are mad because you assume I’ve reached a level of success and finances that people dream for, which is true. But you also think I am undeserving of that because I don’t adopt the way of thinking that we were told we need to make it. But I still love you. 5 on Fridays.”

Staples Keeps Firing

This didn’t help matters, and more people came out of the wood work.

One fan said they want Staples to love the job “we” gave him.

“Why? Serious question. Let’s have a dialogue I’m free this morning.”

Another said that comment was wild but then ranted about why Vince should act a certain way.

“N****! ENOUGH ALREADY! lol.”

Staples kept poking the social media bear.

“To the fans, what would you guys like my favorite song to be? I will add it to the lexicon. I am also seeing that you guys do not like me referring to my job as a job, so what should I call it? Passion? Life’s Purpose? Please let me know, I want to make sure everyone is happy moving forward.”

And poking.

“Comparing your job to a regular job = being too cool.”

And poking.

“Now I’m “crashing out” god damn man we can’t have any fun. If you want to chat join the Vince Staples discord server. We communicate daily.”

Naturally, social media took offense, like it always does.

If you wanna yell at him, you can join his Discord here.
